ChessDada is a free multiplayer chess platform built with a simple goal: bring back the joy of casual online chess that many of us remember from Yahoo Chess. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no distractions — just pure chess, playable from any browser, Android device, or via our Chrome Extension.
ChessDada was founded in early 2025 by an independent web developer based in Multan, Pakistan. What started as a personal project has grown into a daily-updated chess news and gameplay platform serving chess enthusiasts worldwide.
Our small team focuses on three things: keeping the platform free and fast, publishing timely chess news that matters, and building community features that make online chess feel human again.

ChessDada runs on Node.js with Express and Socket.IO for real-time gameplay, backed by a MySQL database. The platform supports HTTP/2, gzip compression, and is optimized for fast response times (typically under 100ms). We use the chess.js library for game logic validation.
